I'm FREEEEEE w00t!
I am so. fucking. pissed. On the Calc final, I was stuck on this one little question that seemed so easy but I couldn't figure out how to do it. So I come home and ask my dad, and he tells me how to do it. I was so shocked and now completely pissed at myself for not knowing the solution. It was a wrong concept, he'd said to me. Well that fucking wrong concept probably just killed my chance of getting an A in Calc. Fuck. I hate how the teacher weighs each question so heavily, so that if you missed one problem you're already down to a low A for the exam. I had to get a 97.8% on that exam to get an A in the class. I spent 3 hours studying for that crap of an exam. Son of a crapping lizard. SHIT! >< Calculus sucks @$$. >.<

In reply you (Mishi), I'm assuming you don't have a site, otherwise you conveniently forgot to leave it...people in Alaska are called Alaskans, people in Hawaii are called Hawaiians, people in California are called Californians, does that make them separate from the U.S.? The reason you gave is a bit asinine and not strong enough for me to see it from your point of view. I know my history well, yes, the National Chinese Party (don't know the direct English translation) took flight to the little island called Taiwan, with no initiate motive of becoming independent. They were escaping because they were defeated by the Communist party. That does not give them any reason to assume they're going to be independent. No country has ever supported them being independent, and no country has ever admitted them as a country. There's no word in Chinese that separates the Taiwanese from the Chinese. They're all referred to as Chinese. Only in the English is there "Taiwanese." I want to go on, but since this is such a sensitive subject, and I haven't heard from all points of view yet, I won't assume anything else. If someone's willing to give me a reasonable explanation, as to why Taiwan even wants to break free of China in the first place, I can still try to see it from their point of view. I am a huge reasonable person. It seems that I don't want to hear what they have to say but I think a lot of it is that I can't see where they're coming from. It's probably biased too because I'm full Chinese but I do want to hear their explanation. However no one as a good one. Mishi's comment didn't give a reasonable explanation, because I can easily counter it. Without a reasonable explanation I will continue to believe what I know. If there is no reasonable explanation for it, that only further proves what I think of the Taiwanese. Furura, that must be a pain to listen to your parent argue over this issue of Taiwanese vs. Chinese. x_x I'm sorry if I offended anyone, it wasn't intentional, and I'm very willing to admit if I happen to be wrong.

Anyway. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELIAN! *big hugs* I'm so sorry I couldn't make your a gift on Friday or any time before. x_X Finals week was last week and I was overly stressed. But look for something in your mailbox soon ^.~

....That's one of the reasons I hated math. Questions seriously shouldn't be weighed that heavily since it can effect the outcome of your test or exam. x_x I mean... if you happen to make one mistake on the forumla for all of your questions, you can kiss any decent mark goodbye. @_@ Blah. I hope that your score turns out well either way though. :/

Ugh, I know how you feel, like questions that are worth 6 marks and you don't get it, and it screws everything up. But if you could do a part of it, you get some marks don't you?

Wow, your class must be very smart, I suck at Maths, my scores haven't touched the 90s for quite some time.

Ah! That totally sucks about your Calc test! I hate it when teachers do that sort of thing! And try not to worry so much! I completely bombed my College Algebra final, but still got a passing grade in the class which for me is a miracle!

Eeep!! Sorry about that Calc test!! Geez...that bites...I hate finding out I missed something for a stupid reason. I have a hard time accepting failures due to my own idiocy.
